I wouldn't have guessed that a country as small as Iran would have the highest drug addiction rate in the world. This article quotes UN statistics regarding the percentage of the population addicted to drugs. It makes one wonder what particular factors in the country lead to the high rate of drug abuse. Why Iran rather than any other country?
